Our children might have many different needs, we might use vastly different services, and our experiences can vary
widely, but one thing most parents of children with special needs have in common is that medical expenses put a
strain on the family budget.
Credit Counseling Centers of Oklahoma, Inc. (CCCO) is a not-for profit agency providing confidential debt counseling
and financial education through a variety of services meeting individual needs.
Programs available through the Consumer Credit Counseling Service consist of: Family Financial and Budget
Counseling, a Debt Management/Repayment Program, and Housing Counseling. Each of these programs is designed to
assist families and individuals to better plan their spending and learn to budget funds in the most efficient
manner. A certified counselor will analyze your financial situation and make suggestions about your personal
finances and the prevention of future money management problems. The Debt Management Plans serve the dual role of
assisting you in repaying your debts and paying your creditors the money that you owe them. CCCO also offers a HUD
certified program that provides counseling about all aspects of housing including pre-purchase, default mortgages,
delinquent rent and reverse mortgages.
In addition, CCCO has established a well-respected Community Education department. This department offers a series
of informative and educational workshops throughout the year. These workshops cover a variety of topics and are
meant to prevent financial crisis by educating consumers.
