Cordless and cell phones have become a timesaver for many busy parents, allowing them to make doctor appointments, discuss their child's progress in school, or confide in a friend, all while doing other chores such as folding laundry or waiting in the carpool line for school to let out. But did you know that others might be listening in on your conversations as well? Many people have scanners in their homes and cars which can pick up conversations on wireless products. If you do not want others to know what you are saying, you must use a regular hard-wired phone, or a phone which the manufacturer specifically states is secure. And remember, even if you are not using a cordless or cell phone, the person that you are talking to might be using one.
