Community Leadership Solutions, a project of the University Affiliated Programs, is a series of workshops designed to enhance your skills as an advocate for your family and for yourself. The workshops provide you with tools for more effective listening, goal setting, problem solving, team building, and ways to assess and enhance your unique strengths. You will learn how to mobilize your resources, what makes teams work and what causes teams to fail, and you will develop skills to help you "level the playing field" and improve the outcome in negotiations. In addition, the workshops show you how to be a stronger leader or team member in community service and citizenship.
There are workshops scheduled for both day and evening hours at locations across the state. All of the workshops are free, but registration is required.
