Accessible Computers

Through a joint project of the Oklahoma Developmental Disabilities Council, Department of Rehabilitation Services, and Ability Resources, 53 sites across Oklahoma have computers which are accessible for people with disabilities. Each computer site has free internet access, an accessible computer station, a large trackball in place of a standard mouse pointer, and a 17" monitor with screen magnification to enlarge the viewing image. Screen reading software and stereo speakers permit users to hear what is displayed on the screen. Information from the internet can be printed out for later use or reference.
