Healthy Child Care Oklahoma

The Oklahoma State Department of Health has a project called Healthy Child Care Oklahoma. It is part of the Healthy Child Care America campaign which is based on the principle that families, child care providers and health care providers can form a partnership to promote the healthy development of young children in child care. As part of this project, the county child care health and safety consultants and the regional resource and referral agencies help ensure that parents, children and child care providers receive the training and the services that they need.

Oklahoma Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies (OCCRRA) are located throughout the state to help parents find child care that meets their needs, and to provide information on such topics as what to look for when choosing child care.
