The Oklahoma Parent eNetwork (OPeN) is an online support group which allows parents and providers to share information and support with others in our state who have, or provide services for, children with special needs.
At the Oklahoma Parent eNetwork website, http://clix.to/open, parents will find a wealth of information. the website has links to various non-profit organizations and support groups throughout the state of Oklahoma. Resources are also provided on state and federal agencies, education, home schooling, SSI, and more. The Online Phonebook contains real-life addresses and phone numbers for various resources, most of which are located in Oklahoma. Various articles of intereste to families of children with special needs are available from the home page. The calendar, available only to those on the listserve, lists events in the state which are of interest to parents of children with special needs.
New subscribers to the email list will receive information via email wich includes such topics as Waivered Services & EPSDT, IEPs, Special Needs Trusts, and Article XIII: Special Education of Exceptional Children.
