Regional Education Service Centers

Regional Education Service Centers (RESC's) are under the Special Education Services of the State Department of Education and serve as a resource for both schools and parents.

RESC's provide testing and evaluation services for children with special learning needs. Often, screening and other services are provided by RESC's at the request of a school when determining a child's special education needs, but parents can also contact the RESC.

Each of the RESC's has a lending library for parents which contain an assortment of books and videos on such topics as autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and inclusion.
